Republicans: ABORTING the 47%, before they are born, will greatly reduce the federal deficit

ABORT the 47% ???
Eugenicists , such as Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney, believe in putting all their eggs and sperm in 53% of the baskets , writing off (permanently) those who are down today (but who might be up again tomorrow).

But tomorrow, some of the surviving 53% might also be down  and hence would also be written off,  in ever new rounds of 'tough love'.

Regarding 'the down and out' as permanently down is like a circular firing squad

In this numbers game, after a series of round of recessions and booms,  very few people would be left in America, period - either to pay federal taxes or simply to breath free.

If Hitler had won the war and the world, the Nazis would have had round after round of purification trials, till almost nobody would be left alive - sort of like the Russian Politburo under Stalin or what happened in the last days of the French Revolution.

Purity and perfection tests never end, never are satisfied.

Ditto for Romney and Ryan who, unknowingly, are both advocates of seeing the world through the unvarying spectacles of the K-selecting eugenicist.

The world, to the K-selecting eugenicist, is simple, predictable and static.

In their view of world ecology, the whole world is one big niche, yesterday-today-tomorrow , and their job is to find the beings that best fill that permanent niche and discard the rest.

Commensalists, such as myself, feel differently : call us r-selecting types.

We don't believe in putting our eggs and sperm in one basket.

We see the world as dynamic and unpredictable, always changing.

See it filled with many constantly changing niches that are only partially and temporally filled by many different types of beings: we welcome diversity and feel it to be the best protection possible against tomorrow's unexpected massive changes.

We are not at all surprised to learn that some "pure-blooded" aboriginal tribes were almost totally wiped out by something like childhood measles, with the only survivors being a few "half-breeds", the children of tribe members who married Europeans with built-in resistance to measles.

We prefer to think of them as displaying hybrid resilience, not half-breed decadence, and we think the hard scientific evidence to prove it is on OUR side.

Romney's soaring political rhetoric sounds so good but it is based on outmoded, incorrect, science and when it collides with physical reality, it will always crash and burn....

As a EUGENICIST, Romney exceeds even Hitler , who never thought 47% of Germans were 'unfit'

the UNFIT vote democrat
Social Darwinism - the Ayn Rand variety - has dominated the world's headlines this week as the GOP president-in-waiting, Mitt Romney, defined his take on the world in a secret video : half of us pay federal income taxes and are the makers, Nature's 'fit'.

The other half of us pay no federal taxes and are the takers, the moochers, the dependents, the self-defined victims, Nature's 'unfit.'

Victorian 'culture wars' re-emerge into 21st century presidential election

Out in the real world, before Victorians brought in sentimental campaigns to protect children, slaves, women and animals, these 'unfit' would die a short and natural death.

But now soft-headed (Democrat) governments have kept this half of us alive artificially   --- under Romney all this would change.

But some years, perhaps even Romney fits into these 'unfit'  ---as in some years he too may have paid no taxes.

I don't know this for a fact admittably, but I am hardly alone in strongly suspecting it, if only from his most electorally costly decision: the decision NOT to reveal his past income tax returns.

But there is another view of Darwin and Herbert Spencer that doesn't throw out their baby with the bathwater: it is this that "the fittest will survive".

OOOOOOH !!! Did I say a bad thing ?

I don't think so and here is why:

'Fit' or 'fittest' : what's the difference ?

A tiny jockey doesn't seem particularly 'fit' versus a football quarterback but try to 'fit' that quarterback on the backside of a horse in a horserace and we begin to see that while the term 'fit' (and hence un-fit) is static, permanent and eternal, the term 'fittest' is highly contingent and varies from time to time and place to place.

In a world of the First Law (of thermodynamics), the fit will survive : it is stable and permanent and static.

But if the world is better described by the Second Law (of thermodynamics) and is is in constant and dynamic and chaotic change, then sometimes and somewhere , the small and the small eaters (those frequently judged unfit) will actually often do much better than the big and big eater.

Fantasy says that "God is on the side of the battalions of the biggest eaters", but the Earth's long history, grounded in ancient dead giant dinosaur bones and huge healthy present day populations of tiny bacteria, suggests otherwise.

Blue Sky fantasy or Grounded reality : no guess as to which world Mr Romney drinks the Kool-Aid in.....

Irish Catholic Republican from Wisconsin plays JOE MCCARTHY to the hilt !

PAUL RYAN
My personal introduction to the FIRST Irish Catholic Republican from Wisconsin who never meet a fact he couldn't twist was in the mid 1950s - after reading a 1954 book about Pogo set in the swamps of Ogopogo and asking my mother about the character Simple J Malarkey.

McCarthyism Lives !

Mom explained as best she could to a six year old about often-charming, always devious Senator Joe McCarthy.

Cut to present day America and Joe is back - from the dead ! - cloned in the persona of Paulie-Ayn Rand , the GOP VP pick, the kid with the face of a catholic choirboy and the heart (-lessness) of a man on his way to the top, regardless of who gets in his way.

I don't know what kind of Kool-Aid Republicans drink out there in Wisconsin but avoid it like the plague - and don't drop the Acid they offer up, along with heavy metal tunes, to show they are "hep" with the 2010s......

Todd Akins spear-carrier for fellow FULL MOON REPUBLICAN Ryan on Legitimate Rape

RYAN loves AKINS !
Please don't call Todd Akins a  FULL MOON REPUBLICAN  lunar nut case and then vote for fresh-faced Paul Ryan on Nov 6 : both support the idea of legitimate rape versus illegitimate rape when it comes to abortions ---- their record in Congress proves it.

Visuals aside, both believe in legitimate rape vs illegitimate rape

If one is a nut bar, so is the other : yes Todd Akins looks like Chuck Berry's famous caricature of a typical silver haired, inane, Southern Senator and Ryan looks like the average Catholic choir boy who has a taste for death metal and Ayn Rand but intellectually and politically they think, talk and act exactly alike.....

Paulie-Ayn Rand : after Nov 6 , libertarian one heartbeat away from nuking the tired , poor, huddled , masses

paul ryan daisy girl ad 2012
Paulie loves poor me, he loves me not
So one night two Micks, a Mormon And a Moslem walk into a TV studio and the Presidential Debates moderator says  " What the FRACK ever happened to an All-Protestant America !!!???"

Okay, okay,so maybe the President really was born in America and so maybe he is a church-attending member of the Trinity United Church of Christ denomination, but don't think that tongues aren't wagging in the back rooms of the Irreligious Right.

Their Chosen Party, the GOP (God's Only Party), has a Mormon and a Catholic as its ticket --- definitely a first.

But far more important is that the GOP Mick - Paulie-Ayn Rand - claims his number one influence isn't Christ but pro-atheist, pro-abortion, pro-greed, pro-selfishness AYN RAND.

Rand was about as "SkyGoddish" as one one could get.

Libertarians honor their own Trinity, just like Obama : but their Trinity consists of three American women.

Paul Ryan worships atheist pro-abortion home-wrecker Ayn Rand ,not Jesus, but GOP evangelicals don't care Diddley about Jesus : it is all about getting juicy tax breaks...

(Albeit two were foreign born - one in Russia (Ayn) and one in Canada (Isobel Patterson). The third woman, Rose Ingalls Wilder, ironically  got rich and selfish co-writing her mother's sentimental "Little House on the Prairie."

Mr Ryan, with his selfish Ayn-inspired philosophy, could be the closest a hard-core libertarian has ever got to world power.

Ryan is only a heartbeat away from the Red Button, only a heartbeat away from nuking America's tired, poor, huddled masses of wretched refuse with his harsh, selfish policies.

Like Mrs Thatcher , Ryan is death on the poor and a denier to the manor born on climate change : a wet is a warmist and a warmist is a wet , is his motto.

Earthlings are dirt, worms - not his fellow beings.

Past time then, to bring back 1964's  little Daisy Girl ad from out of the DDB vaults ....*

"Ten, nine, eight, seven......."

The real Daisy Girl was two year old Monique M Corzilius ---- and she was a redhead ---- only the effects of the very bright sunshine on the day of shooting and black and white film made her seem the iconic blond-headed kid !

On Nov 6 ,vote the SkyGod ticket : Ayn Ryan and Paul Rand

GREED is GOD !
Richard M Salsman , the well known Gauleiter of Greed, has a long article in America's most read business publication, FORBES,  advocating the Gekko mantra that "GREED IS GOD" and welcoming the GOP ticket of Ayn Ryan and Paul Rand for espousing it.

Out with religion's Gods ; In with Man as the only true SkyGod ...

Truly a balanced ticket, the Libertarian couple consists of a devout Catholic and a devout Atheist both swearing eternal fidelity to each other and to the view that Man is Superman over all the undermen-like creatures of of Nature.

No better example could exist of  the continuing strength of  pre-war views of scientific Man in nature (Man as a SkyGod) than the widespread media support for Paul Ryan (and Ayn Rand's) entry into the 2012 contest for the leadership of the free world......

Looking back at 21st Century Fiction : The Cut'n'runners Boys vs the Sustainer Gals

I will be long dead before the 21st century is over, let alone properly evaluated.
But I am still willing to stick my neck and foretell what the characteristic fiction of this century will look like --- and what it won't look like.
Oh sure, there will be plenty of spy cum adventure action dramas that replace battles with Russian communist spies with tales of blue-eyed blondes fighting off dusky Arabs and sinister yellow perils, but really - isn't this all a bit 19th century-ish ?
No, a truly 21st century genre fiction will deal with the striking events of its own century : and that means denier-wars and global warming / climate change.

From the Ayn Rand side of things (and let's face it: with the quality of ghost-writers today, Ayn Rand dead might write more readable fiction than Ayn Rand ever wrote alive !), there will be stirring tales of "The Sons of Liberty" fighting off sneak attacks from "Eco-Terrorists" trying to destroy the oil wells that dot the warm blue waters of what was once the icy Arctic.
But from the quality side of the literature bazaar : say upmarket Atwood, we should expect the same tale of oil wells at the North Pole , but told this time as a century battle between that notorious globe-raping gang, "The Cut'n'Runners Boys"  versus those plucky Eco-PIs, "The Sustainer-Gals" .
Now - admittedly - we are already 1/8th our way into this century, with no real sign that either type of book has become prominent in what is left of our bricks 'n' mortar bookstores.
Perhaps there in lies a sterling literary and business opportunity for veteran (and budding) fiction writers all over the world ...

Harridans from Hell : the three women who are destroying our planet

Destroying all the planet, from the grave.
All three Harridans - Isobel Paterson, Rose Wilder Lane and Ayn Rand - died years ago .
But they are still uniquely honored by the mostly male (and male chauvinistic) libertarians of the world as "The Founding Mothers" of Libertarianism.
Yes - there are no Founding Fathers of this uniquely male-centric theology of greed and self-centredness.

The Mother of All Mothers for libertarians was a Canadian - Isobel Paterson.
Who could imagine that such as self-absorbed, self-centred bunch of perpetual teenage boys as the libertarians could have been birthed by women and Canadians, rather than by some hard-bitten Texan macho types .
    Life is stranger than Hollywood....

NATURE survey confirms LIBERTARIAN GREED is humanity's dominant ideology

Okay, okay, who uses gallows humour to describe our terrestrial spiral downwards into total disaster?
But I just couldn't resist the opportunity to make a pun and a serious point about the just-published, highly depressing, BARNOSKY SURVEY.

On June 6 2012, two dozen scientists led by Professor Barnosky issued a survey style report in the science journal NATURE, on whether the Earth is approaching another 'biological global tipping point' similar to past disasters caused by oxygen-emitting microbes, asteroids, massive volcanic eruptions or ice ages.
Those massive die-offs of biodiversity led to the killing of from 50 to 95% of all species in a very short time in geological terms.
They usually happened when 50 to 90% of the various individual, smaller, biosphere regions were disrupted.
So how is MAN-THE-TAKER stacking up ?
As disaster-causers go, pretty good, thank you very much.
Currently 7 billion of us, most of us relatively poor in North American terms, have converted 43% of all the Earth's surface to agriculture or urban use.
Soon, by 2050, we will be 9.3 billion - and that is 9.3 billion ambitious humanoids all striving to use resources 'just like a Canadian' : if they and their governments succeed, make that to be a 300% increase over what we consume today.
Since we already directly consume, just our one species, 20% of the primary terrestrial bio production, I see that as putting us well past a dreadful tipping point ----60% will be consumed by us.
Not enough food left for the bees that make our crops grow, to let our trees give us oxygen and get rid of CO2, not enough ocean microbes to kickstart the entire food cycle and other vital 're-cycle cycles'.
In addition, we have broken up and separated large swaths of similar terrain by our human settlements and roads - this will prevent many species from steadily moving north or south within similar terrain, to gradual adjust to a rapidly changing climate.
Stuck in their old habitat, now not right for their kind, they won't adjust quick enough in most cases - they will simply die.
Movement, not mutations, is how most species - humans too - have always adjusted to rapid deadly changes in their own little biosphere.
Now here , at last, is where the pun comes in : this was a survey published in NATURE but also a survey of Nature -Nature as in  all that stuff outside our air-conditioned little computer rooms.
It says its hurting and it says it is because one species - ours - is too greedy, too individualistic, too self-centred, too egotistic - to share the earth's wealth or to even put a little in.
Nature says it knows what ideology drives humanity
and it is Isobel Paterson,Rose Wilder Lane and Ayn Rand's Libertarianism.
The Three Harpies From Hell : hellbent on killing Mother Nature and Mankind. Female Serial killers.
Greed is not Good : we need to develop a set of moral values that sees greed as evil as we today see murder as.
Global Commensality is the Matter to Libertarianism's Anti-Matter, our cheese to their chalk, our water to their oil.
It does not say "let us take, take, take and never give anything back". It says "we will only take some of the world's resources and protect all of it -- we will share with all lifeforms the only lifeboat we can see in this vast hostile Universe".
So which side are you on ?  Its a line in the sand : either for skygod libertarian greed -----or------for earthling commensality with all other lifeforms.....
